| Originally from Texas, Farah is an only child whose parents were separated by divorce. She lived on a ranch till her parents separated, moving with her mother to Las Vegas while her father moved to Chicago. While in Las Vegas at the beginning, Farah found herself alone a lot of the time and wandering around the city at night. Shortly after her arrival in Las Vegas, Farah went through a nasty break up with Bret, her boyfriend of over a year when he cheated on her. It sent her into a small spiral of depression, that coupled with her parents divorce, caused her to isolate herself further. She took solace in her music, writing songs, playing piano and drums while also teaching herself the guitar. Shortly after her 18th birthday, she got a phone call from her ex-boyfriend who was heading to Las Vegas to come and see her for her birthday. Not wanting to see him, she tried to avoid the fact that he was coming to Las Vegas and avoided him when he arrived. Her mother, for whatever reason, decided to invite Bret over for dinner one night but Farah skipped out. When she went home early morning, she found Bret to still be there and a fight escalated. Pissed that her mother stood there while her ex called her horrible names, Farah ripped into the both of them, grabbed a bag of stuff and left. Living on the streets for a week, she was given a place to stay by a couple people until she took a job as a stripper at a club where her friend used to work. Even if her heart wasn't really into it, Farah was good at her job and continued to dance as she found herself a home from a friend and started to save up some money. She also bought herself a dog that she named Brian after the lead singer of ACDC. When her parents found out what she was doing for a job, she was disowned by both basically which further isolated her from her family. Then one day her ex showed up at her new place and during the argument, he slammed her into a door and she retaliated by breaking his nose. She grabbed her dog and locked herself in the bathroom; the cops arrived to Bret banging on the door and nearly breaking it down while she was inside. She wasn't charged because it was self defense and she was able to get a restraining order against him. Still, she wasn't quite comfortable with herself anymore due to the fact that she felt she was self destructing; because of the stripping job, that she was drinking more and even engaging in one night stands with men she hardly knew. After about the third guy, she clicked in rather quickly that this was something she didn't care to do anymore. Especially when she gave birth to her daughter. |
